6800gt auto detect clock settings?

I finally got my eVGA 6800gt, i am wondering i thought that i read somthing somewhere that there was an auto detect on the clock settings? is that true?

download coolbits2 run it. then open your vid card properties and you will see clock frequency settings. be careful.
