Ok so I have had this card for about a week. Almost everytime I put my computer into stand by and take it out the screen is full or artifacts or curroption(whatever the proper term is)I can play games for hours with seeing any artifacts but after standby they are all over the desktop and in the start drop down menue. Ive searched google and havent found any explinations or solutions. Because I can play games for so long I dont think its my power supply, which is 480 watts.(an Ultra) I'm thinking either 1. My card needs to be returned or 2.I need to reinstall windows if I cant find a solution.

Edit--Upon further inspection I now observe it to do this closer to about half the time.

full specs. i would like to know the motherboard, cpu, what drivers you're using, ram, what model that 480w psu is, ect.

mine's been doing that lately too. But I cheat on CS and d/led alot of cheats and i'm sure some if not all of them have trojan in it.

Mine goes away completely after a reboot, so it's not a hardware problem.

Mine goes away completely after reboot too. and stop cheating.
My specs....(comp built awile ago so its not ulta high end but anyway)
K8v deluxe
3400 clawhammer
512 corsair xms pc3200 ram (more on the way)
Creative Audixy 2

Drivers-latest official from Nvidia website, chipset driver i forgot but will find out shortly, Sound drivers are latest from creative(which are actually pretty old)

Update-
Changed/updated all my drivers. My powersupply is a Thermaltake PurePower "butterfly"
series. (480watt). Problem continues :( I am thinking about RMAing this thing because it started artifacting in a few games really badly.
