6800GT 128 vs 256

[icehawk_OS]

Can anyone point me towards reviews of 6800GTs comparing the 128 & 256mb versions? I'm trying to decide if I should hold out for a more expensive, mail-order only 256mb card - locally I can only find 128mb cards. Not sure if it is worth the extra $80-100 either?

Couldn't really turn up much w/search...

Thanks!

There are no 128 MB cards that are really 6800 GTs. If you are talking about the Asus cards, they are severely nerfed compared to the real 6800 GT cards.

thats funny if you check out.....http://www.digit-life.com/articles2/digest3d/index0410.html....this will show you that the asus card isnt really nerfed at all...it still puts out 5600 x 5600 m/tex and m/pix.....just click the link to compare cards in the line up. it just has 128mb of 2.8ns ram and gt has 256 of 1.6ns.....they give the card a good review...it still has the same core
