6800 vs 6800LE?

I was looking through NewEgg and saw that they have the 6800LE as having the same clock speed on the RAM and core as the standard 6800. Is this a typo or is their some other difference (pipelines etc)? Thanks.
 
The 6800LE has 8 Pixel Pipelines, and 4 Vertex Shaders, while the 6800NU has 12 Pixel Pipelines, and 5 Vertex Shaders. Both have a 256bit memory interface, thats about it.
 
I'd imagine that still makes quite a bit of performance difference though...thanks!
 
I'm interested in seeing if you can unlock the pipelines in RivaTuner.
 
Chances of them unlocking are amazingly rare. Those are not only the 6800U/GTs that didnt make it, but also the 6800nu's that didnt pass, so you can gather that chances of unlocking are extremely little.
 
I have 2 Leadteak 6800LE

-One of them unlock to 8/6 without any artifacts and 12/6 with some artifacts in only a few games.

-The other unlock to 12/6 without any artifacts. 16/6 gets some artifacts.

So mainly if dependes on how lucky you are. but be ready for disappointment ;)
