I was wondering.... what kind of temps should i be seeing on this card with the nv5? right now its stiting at abotu 49 idle, and maybe 53 when playing source...


but then again my source is crashing ALOT
 
Those temps seem ok. Thats what my GT runs with stock cooling so your instability is probably related to something else. I would try a different driver set. The latest beta's seem to work well for me in Source.
 
yeah my computer was restarting like crazy before and i didnt know why so i turned off the extra pipes and now my source just crashes all time... but no restarts
 
I would experiment with different driver sets and see if that fixes your Source crashes.
