Was looking at some of the other threads about modding your shuttle to fit a 6800 Ultra and was wondering if I just leave the case side/top off and cut the extra pci slot off would it fit?

Thanks

ist the AGP/PCI-E 16x slot right on the edge of the Shuttle leaving the cooler facing right at the side of the case? you wont even have to cut the other PCI slot.

Pictures of the SN95G5V3 on newegg show the AGP on the left side?

You have two options:

1) Cut the side of the case to fit the card.

2) leave cover off.

Both will work, but IMO cutting a slot in the side of the case that will fit the cooler would be the neatest choice.

Or You can just buy a sinlge slot GT and overclock that bad boy :)

If im not mistaking thats leaves the Cooler pointing out. Ill find a pic of it open witha Vidcard on if i can. Im sure it does leave it with the cooler facing the outside so leaving it open or cutting the case should work :)

:( Didn't notice you already had the ultra.....But the good news is that cutting a shuttle is easy business. I've seen pictures on this forum of somebody who did a very neat clean cut around the heatsink...........

If you check around you might even be able to find a one slot aftermarket cooler for it. I'm not sure if these exist off the top of my head, but I wouldn't doubt it. You could even flash to a 1.4V BIOS that the GTs run on to lower heat output.
