6800 Ultra Broken??

It looks like you killed the card when you were running it at first (when you "didnt install the Artic Silver 5 right"). :(

I don't think you can fix it now. Bye bye card, you will be missed. :(
 
if youy have time, take off the block, clean the core, check for damage
 
is there a chance you might have gotten AS5 on any of the resistors on the GPU? there's the possibility of shorting since AS5 is slightly conductive. If it works sometimes and not others, I would guess there is some unknown environmental factor involved in creating the issue. I'll bet you can get that thing running perfectly again...

try taking everything off, cleaning all the goo off with Arcticlean and trying again.
