6800 oc need help

does anyone know why my new 6800 oc 128mb hits only 74fps on the video stress test on css when my gf3 ti500 64mb was hitting about 100fps. i have tried putting all the settings on low and still the samething? i'm running athlon xp2100 at 1.7 and have 768ram.
 
Your only getting 74fps on your 6800 becuase you are running CS:S in DX9 now when your GF3 was using DX7 or DX8.
