Damnit, this new build is really starting to p*ss me off. PRoblems with PSUs, problems with BSODs and now my 6800 GT PCIe card seems to be dead
I did have 2x 6800 GT in SLI setup and then I switched the PC off. When I switched it on again, there was no BIOS screen and the monitor wasn't receiving a signal. I cleared the CMOS etc. and still no go.
I then tried each card individually and the card that was in PCIe slot 2 worked perfectly, the other one did not
The card that was in slot 1 was powered by the PCIe power cable from the OCZ 600W PSU, whereas the other one was powered by the 2x HDD molex connectors via the PCIe power adapter.
I remember reading something about faulty OCZ PSUs - am I a victim of this, or was my 6800 GT just faulty?
