My 6800 gt was having some driver issues so i called the customer service to see what they reccomended. I was getting a 2700 in 3dmark 05 (in the system in my specs) i told theu customer service guy so and he told me that was an average score lol. than when i insisted that people could get 5k on stock cooling with stock speeds he started with the your an idiot tone. Meanwhile after installing the 5th set of drivewrs and running 3dmark 05 it was fu\inishing up its tests and just before it finished the guy pissed me off so much i hung up on him. 20 secondl later i got a score of 5k. I was wondering if anyone else has had similar experiances with BFG's Customer service. I had always heard good things but now im doubtful. the idiot had odviously never even benched one of their products.... than he acts like im an idiot when i expect it to do well.

Almost any customer service sucks for any computer technology. They all go by the book...and when you say something that makes them look stupid... looking stupid in front of a consumer looks bad for them...reason being, most calls are monitored to see how he/she handles calls. Its human reaction...on the "defensive" Customer Service reps for Internet, and other computer Troubleshooting reps...all dumbasses...ive learned that firsthand...several times....save ur breath...save the headache...and save ur phonebill lol....just fix it urself...good old research...a little internet and forum reading...and u can fix it urself...lol...just my input...lol

...lol... ....yea...those customer service people are a real... pain in... the... buttox...

i HATE talking with Customer service... they need to do some sort of screening when they hier these retards.. they need to know all the highperformance specs of these cards and doo there god damn homework on the new shit

lol sadly im thinking i know more about their products than they do.... lol they should have one of the requirements for being a rep be that you have to have made a couple comps... lol

anyone who calles tesh support has about 50% chance in being smarter then they are..and the thing is..they dont know this..so they open up the books while your explaining your issue in "uber-geek-talk" :D

Considering that BFG doesn't make any drivers I'm wondering why you even bothered with them instead of working it out on your own. Going from 2700 to 5000 in one shot tells me one thing - you didn't install your drivers correctly the first time around. There aren't any 6800GT compatible drivers on the planet that would take your score that low.

I was wondering if they had any drivers that they reccomended. I know they are stupid (atleast now) i just didnt know how stupid. i figured theyd know what drivers are best for their producr better than i.
Edit and by the way i used the drivers on the cd its impossible to screw up. al you do is click agree next and finish. a moron could do it and i am no moron.
