Ive been thinking about adding a NV silencer 5 to my 6800 gt, but am wondering if it would really increase my cooling. You see I have the leadtek winfast 400 gt. Heres some pictures. It already takes up the extra card slot and has a giant heatsink. Its the same cooling they have for their 6800 ultra cards. Please tell me what you think would be best for my GT.

One high-CFM 120mm fan blowing directly on the card from the side of the case.

Dude I've got the same card, Why in the world would you want to replace that awsome cooling system already on it? I agree with the last post get a 120mm fan and have it blow strait on the card.

thx for the advice. i just cut the holes for my 120 on my side window and my 120 blowhole. haven't got my system back in the case yet though.

I doubt you would see any temp drops if you put an NV5 on that thing. BTW, what is you OC on that card?

I haven't started over clocking my 6800 yet I wanted to see if the stock cooling was enough. But soon I probably will
