6800 GT and SM3

Just ran the new Shadermark 2.1 and tells me my 6800 GT does not support pixel shadder 3?

WTF?????

I am using the 61.77 drivers that came with my card.
Its a BFG 6800 GT OC...so i would asume the drivers they provide should turn on all features of the card. So am i wrong in thinking the the 6800 series of cards all support SM3, is pixel shadder 3 and shadder model 3 different?
is it only the 6800 U's that have this support??

Someone please tell me!
 
do you have 9.0c installed?

and of course the 6800GT supports SM3. The whole 6800 series uses the same NV40 core.
 
go through the steps,

1) Install dx 9.0c
2) restart
3) driver cleaner
4) restart
5) install drivers
6) restart

Most likely its a driver conflict.
 
its good but still get the BSOD on ut 2004 when I exit :/

Other then that everything else runs fine, just a bit faster in most games not much though.
 
I just tested all 4 modes (2_0, 2_a, 2_b, 3_0). No big surprises except in 3 of the 26 shaders (really just 25, minus the first which doesn't render anything):

shader 8:
2_0: 398 fps
2_b: 399 fps
2_a: 420 fps
3_0: 377 fps

3_0 loses 5% in that test

shader 15:
2_0: 276 fps
2_b: 71 fps
2_a: 329 fps
3_0: 338 fps

shader 19:
2_0: 163 fps
2_b: 60 fps
2_a: 178 fps
3_0: 178 fps

2.0b bombs in these 2 tests.

Otherwise the results are virtually identical. Pretty boring, actually.
 
betas work fine so far....only thing i see is a decrease in 3dmark01 and aquamark3.

Doom seems to play fine as well as Painkiller.
