how do u change the Device ID for 6800 series bios? (6800=41, 6800GT=45, 6800U=40)
or enable/disable 16 pipelines?

Rivatuner Release Candidate 15.1 will allow you to enable 16 pipelines. It's not out yet though, the author Unwinder is working hard on it presently. Not all pipelines on 6800nu work though, only 40% of cards tested have been successful. Most Leadtek and MSI variants work so far.. :D

Not something I'm going to try...I'll take my 12 good pipes over 16 potentially broken ones...I don't have another $300 to buy a replacement ;)

i think u can enable/disable 16pipes with bios flash kinda like x800pro vivo flash.. so it might only work with certain bios flash util.. but i think i can get the card back to original state at worst case but i prob need to change the device id, cos most flash util wont allow the flash unless device id is same.
