Currently 680 prices are hovering around $500 average.

When do you guys expect the prices for these cards to drop at around $300 or so?

probably never. you cant really find 580gtx. for lower then 400.

A 480gtx is still selling at $200~!!~! I'd expect the 670 to drop more than 680 ever will though... A $300 670GTX by this time next year should be a reality.... ;)

In the past few years, inflation seems to have disappeared so a $300 670GTX (not on sale) is more than unlikely

Maybe, maybe not... I'm looking at the 570's and they used to be in the $350+ range just a year ago, and now you can find them for $200~230... But the 480s', 580' are still "hyper" priced...
