680 GTX - 359.00

you most certainly want get 44 bucks for a game. FS section will probably have quite a few codes soon and I doubt they will fetch more than 15-20 bucks.

I might jump on this though as they are probably not going to get much cheaper.

EDIT: grrr that's a freaking 3 slot tank of a card.

Wouldn't a $400 GTX 770 be a better buy?
well at the full 400 bucks, the 770 would not be a better buy. if both the 680 and 770 are oced, the 770 will only be 3 to 4% faster but costs 40 bucks more. after looking though, there are some 770 cards for under 400 bucks so yeah I would go 770.

For the sake of argument, is 50-70 dollars worth 3-4% performance gain between a 680 and 770? Assuming you can get that game sold for 30-40 dollars?

A 770 at 1250 core and 8000Ghz memory would put it enough ahead of an OC'd 680 to be worth it IMO.

Not to mention the 770, while it might be the same chip architecture-wise, is almost guaranteed to be newer silicon, and thus, might have slight modifications to flaws that might've been present whenever these 680s were made. If I'm not mistaken, the 770 has *slightly* better thermals than the 680 as well.

The reference 770 has a much better cooler than the reference 680.

I have this card and it's great.

Having it running 24/7 at these settings.
GPU 1228, Memory 850, Power 130

Only issue is that if you have a smaller mATX case that this card will be hiding valuable expansion bays. In my case, I have no other expansion slot available to me besides a PCI slot :/

There for I'm looking to trade this beast.

no its technically not. only a few cards were shipped out with the titan style cooler but it most certainly is NOT the standard aka reference cooler. heck it was not even available in the USA until Evga decided to offer it based on so much demand. you do see that the card you linked to costs 50 bucks more than a reference priced card dont you?
