6600K build installed...

Nice, I took mine to 4.6, but had some odd issues, so I settled at 4.4. I had more voltage I could pump to the CPU, but it's nice having a rig that isn't a PC and space heater.

Beautiful build bud, gratz.. great Multi core performance gains even for a drop from eight core to four and massive more than twice single threaded performance which its easily reflected in the combined 3dMark Test.

Care to share your everyday usage and gaming experience? it may help to people which are on the same fence thinking in switching =).

There is a whole lot less difference in the physics score than I would have expected. Also, the combined score is definitely screwed up on the AMD side of things. (Not important, just no indicative of actual results.) However, you are doing well here and that is all that counts. (My 6700k will not do beyond 4.5 Ghz though with any real stability.)
 
On the physics score, there was a massive visual difference during the combined test. There is another ~6 seconds of "play" that I had never seen before! The frames were almost smooth enough for an enjoyable visual experience.

A whole lot less difference? What would you have expected?

A lot more than 1500 points or so I guess. :) As far as the combined test goes, I do not believe that to be an accurate test since, even with crossfire or sli, it is always lower than a single card configuration. (That test has always been funny even on 3D Mark 11 and I have a 6700k / 980 Ti now.)

those scores are fine, check that the Physic FX8320 results are oc'd at 4.5ghz which is still less than stock i5 6600K which is normal that doesn't score so high in 3dmark physics score..

about the accurate of the test, those are indeed the most accurate test, because that test involve both the physic test + every other GPU test in a single pass. the scores are always low because that combined test tend to be bottlenecked by the CPU physics calculation which in this case you should notice how huge is the difference from 2888 (13FPS) to 8221 (38FPS) combined score have the heaviest effect in the overall 3dMark score.

Off topic but important: Does handbrake create dvd rips that are fully playable on an XBox One through it's media player? (Across a network off of a Windows 10 box that I am using for file sharing and backup.) Thanks
 
Not sure on that. I've only used it for benchies and stability testing.
I haven't ripped a disk in years
 
Well, this is my home computer score: Score - 16427 Physics - 14791 Combined - 8249

Honestly, it appears to me that the combined score is based on a single core of the processor and only a single core. Otherwise, my combined score would have been higher than yours by a bit. My graphics card clocks up to about 1391 to 1405 without any manual overclocking. (EVGA FTW!) That would also explain why the combined score is always lower when multiple cards are installed regardless of what processor is used.

I will have to link an image. When I try to post the results, it claims I cannot post the results with a free account. I have 3D Mark through steam.

Ok, so your hyperthreading is helping you out here. The physics are indeed parallel threads.
As far as my higher combined score, my faster RAM probably helps out quite a bit. :)

Depends on your settings. Handbrake isn't just 'click go' there are tons of settings to make things the way you want it.

I rip all my media, I have three kids so--HTPC with Kodi is the way I can keep my pulse down.

no it does not... you need a decrypter to rip there are a couple out there
