6600GT vs. X800PRO

I havent really seen any comparisons and was just curious which one you guys would prefer and why. I know the 6600gt has 128mb gddr and the x800pro has 256mb, would these two cards still be considered equal as far as performance?
 
X800pro has a significant advantage over a 66gt

X800 has 256bit 256mb mem, while 66gt has 128bit 128mb mem

X800 has 12 pixel pipes, while 66gt only has 8

my x800pro has a purty good advantage over most cards. just a lil bios update and clocking.
 
A X800PRO rolls over a 6600GT any day.12 pipelines VS only 8,memory bandwith is higher on the X800PRO too.

A no brainer,the X800PRO.

Heck just do a few bechmark comparos and you will see it fast.
 
It probably was...might'ev even been because it still couldn't top the 6600GT.... :D

A more formidable comparison would be between the x700XT vs the 6600GT...Not sure who would get the trophy in that...

The x800pro is quite a bit faster than 6600GT especially when people are/were trying to compare it to the 6800GT.
