I've had my new system with a Chaintech SE6600G PCIe video card since December, but last week was the first time I've tried using the tv-out feature. Unfortunately, I can't get it to work using any interface other than composite. When the S-video output is connected to a TV, the NVIDIA driver correctly detects that the S-video port should be used, but there is no signal at all at the TV--not even sync.
Signal from the composite output is perfect, or should I say, as good as an NTSC composite signal gets.
So far, I've tried the folloiwng:
Two different S-video cables;
Two different TVs with S-video inputs, both of which work fine when supplied video from a PS2;
Two different driver versions (66.93 and 71.84)
My O/S is Windows 2000.
Sounds like a hardware problem to me, but does anyone else have any ideas?
