simply put: which is gonna be better for me? i'm leaning towards the ATi cause, by blood, i'm an ATi guy. however, i've been swayed by nVidia in the past and i think this may be another one of theose times. the X700 may cost a bit more (i wanna get the fucked up sapphire version :) )

anyways, convince me people

btw no SLI for me. i'm gonna throw it in a Gigabyte K8NS Ultra 939
 
I'd lean toward the X700 Pro cause I like ATI and the UT2004 performance is stronger. I play that game alot so.....
 
I've got a X700 Pro and I've been very happy so far with it's performance...
 
The 6600 Gt has yielded better marks on most of the reviews I have seen. Also I have one and it rips it up. Completely destroys my friends 9800 pro.

That's a single 6800GT not a single 6600GT.
 
yer get a 6600GT . It has a higher fillrate and SM3.0 AND real HDR lighting capability. Im getting an AGP version soon. (upgrading from a 9600XT)
