I just found out that I completely WASTED $130 on a 256mb 6200 - several folks have been telling me that this card is worthless :(

So, I'm using my PC for BF2 (primarily)... I really don't want to spend more than $150 or so.. what would be a wise choice for me? Any suggestions on places to find good prices?

By the way, I don't have a PCI-e slot, so it will have to be AGP.

Thanks for any suggestions

Well, if I had to choose between the two I'd say the 6800.

Honestly, Battlefield 2 demands some beefy specs... so now might not be a bad time to upgrade your motherboard as well...

Perhaps spending a little cash on a 7800GT, and a PCI-E board would be a better plan?

I don't know what your budget is, but I can say for sure that you wouldn't be disappointed... and you wouldn't have to upgrade for a while.

Edit: Ouch, just noticed your CPU socket type... on second thought, grab a 6600GT and ride things out until you can do a full upgrade.

Just MHO.
