6600gt farcry help

i just ran farcry on my system, the graphics were all wrong, the water had no detail the grass was a big patch of black and houses were really brigh looking. im hoping this is a driver problem and not a hardware problem. what are the best working drivers from nvidia that run this game. i have the newest i believe. any help at all?

Sounds to me like you need to install the latest patch for farcry, 1.3. You should be able find the patch yourself, I'm too lazy to give you a link

Right now I am running 67.03 with a 6800GT with no issues (HDR enabled). It does sound like it is a patch issue with FarCry. What was your video card before the 6600? Did you use Driver Cleaner 3 prior to installing the nVidia driver to avoid corruption?

On a side note, save up and get 1GB of RAM for you system. Games run much smoother with a gigabyte or more of system memory.
