The 6600GT is better than the 6800 for PCI-e, correct me if i'm wrong.
PCI-e has 16x but AGP only has 8x. Why is that?

I'm going to get the 6600GT... Good choice?
I know that people might say.... no man, get the 6800 you can OC it duuudde.
Consider I'm do not know how to OC... I don't have fancy computer stuff... I bought my PC. 6600GT still good choice?

6600 GT AGP vs PCI-E is almost no difference at all. If you read any comparisons be sure to check the memory clock they are using ... the AGP versions default to 900 Mhz and the PCI-E versions default to 1000 Mhz. What interface are you specifically buying a video card for? PCI-E or AGP?

If AGP ... best value is 6800 vanilla

If PCI-E ... best value is 6600 GT

The PCI-E version of the 6800 (NV41) uses a different core than the AGP 6800 (NV40) ... you cannot unlock the PCI-E version of the 6800 as there is nothing to unlock :p Also ... the majority of the 6800 PCI-E cards have 256 MB and run around $330 so the 6600 GT PCI-E is a much better value but the 6800 is still a little faster but not worth double the price. Again ... this is only the case when comparing the PCI-E versions of the cards.
