6600gt and 3dMark05

Hey guys - Question for ya. I just pulled a 2850 with my new 6600gt. The last 2 benchies in 3dmark05 were super slow 1-4 FPS. Is this what I should expect out of this card?

System:
MSI Neo2 865PE
P4 2.4A o\c to 3240 (stock cooling no less)
1x256mb of OCZ PC4200
EVGA 6600GT no oc
Fresh install of XP, SP2

Im currently trying to decide on new ram. Is 4200 overkill for this 533mhz fsb 2.4a? Should I throw another one of those in, or scrap it and go with a GB of something a bit slower?

The last two tests are CPU tests.

HA HA HA!

The CPU takes over the rendering process. So 1-4 fps is normal.

I know nothing about RAM, but the people in the memory section might be able to.

Your 6600 GT score is a tad low. Try some 71.24 or 71.21 drivers.

You aren't the first person to ask about the low Frames on the last two tests so don't worry about that.

As for your 3dmark-05 scores, chances are you do have some driver or configuration issues. Your low amount of RAM isn't helping either. I would look into getting another 512MB of the same or similar RAM to bring you up to 768MB, which should easily hold you until your ready to upgrade the whole system.

Also play around with your AGP settings, you may do better with 64mb or even 32mb than you would think.
