6600GT > 9800 Pro?

How does a single 6600 GT stack up against the 9800 Pro? Also does anybody have an idea on when the NF4 based SLI motherboards are going to be released?
 
I'm really interested in hearing an answer to this question by someone more knowledgable also...
 
if you already have a 9800 pro i wouldn't get a 6600GT unless you got money you wanna blow.

its better than the 9800 pro but not by enough to justify the cost IMO.
 
Well the cost is not really what is concerning me. I was gonna grab a NF4 board and a Athlon64 when the NF4 boards hit the streets. I was pondering buying a 6600GT with that and then dropping another 200 bucks a few months down the road for some SLI lovin. I just didn't want to buy a card that was slower than my current one.
 
yes thats a great, plan that way u'll get almost twice the performance down the road... go for it..
