I'm running two evga 6600 gt's in sli on an asus a8n sli deluxe, when I try to run the component out to my tv it runs either in a resolution that is unusable, or blue screens my computer. Any ideas?

have you used Powerstrip? If not, google it, download it, and run it. If you're not sure how to use it, you can google that too but just about ANY decent HTPC site has a very good tutorial on how to use powerstrip to solve TV out problems.

it may also help people to know what sort of TV or device (I say device b/c I have an A/V reciever that my output goes to) you're outputting to. Some TV's don't like resolutions other than their native.

what resloution and what type of tv?

and have you tried running it with just one card in?

I have found that the beta drivers offer more control over the resolutions try something like 70.81 or 75.90. Guru3D.com has a lot of beta drivers and other programs that can help.

Chill out man, he was just trying to help.
telling me to read the f*****ing manual isn't helpful at all actually...

Thanks for the info on powerstrip I downloaded it last night and I'm just waiting to get home from work to give it a try.

what kind of tv are you hooking up to, btw forceware drivers for the mose part let you tweak the modulation settings for the video output like the ver and horizontal scan rates, tried hooking dvi cable from old quadro 700xgl a while back and took a while to get the signal to sinc right to our hd tv

samsung dynaflat 27"
with 6600 gt's
I tried powerstrip with some encouraging results, but it'll take a little more tweaking.
