My buddy has a 6600 with a 3.2GHZ celeron with 512 MB of RAM.
He's got a nice case, decent power supply and too much heat isn't the problem.
He has told me that he bought the card to play newer games...yes I know 6600 is not the best of the 6 series line-up....but budgets are different for everyone. So I don't want to hear any - upgrade the card type comments. I'm more looking for feedback...supposedly he has upgraded to the newest drivers and is still having horrible frames in CS. He is running 800x600 with everything at the lowest quality on Hl2 CS:S and still getting 15-20 frames per second??? Is that the best that the 6600 is capable of? That seems far to low to me.
