Ok I can't figure this out after what I would think is some very exhaustive testing short of getting out the multimeter...

Here is everything in my computer there is a lot (which might be the problem??):
CoolMax 450W PS
Asus A7V333 (newest BIOS 1018 Beta 004) <--- (mobo could be culprit?)
AthlonXP 2000+ (Palamino) Not OC'ed
2x512 MB RAM (Apacer and something else)

Pioneer DVD-ROM
Lite-on DVDR
Lite-on CDRW
Maxtor 60GB
Floppy
2 x WDJB 200GB drives

AGP: eVGA 6600GT
PCI 1: nothing
PCI 2: nothing (took out my TV tuner card read below)
PCI 3: SB Audigy(1) Gamer
PCI 4: Promise TX2000 ---> 2 WDJB 200GB drives
PCI 5: NetGear FA312 NIC

and 4 Case fans

12V Rail 1: All 3 optical Drives
12V Rail 2: All 3 HD's and floppy
12V Rail 3: 2 case fans and the 6600GT

And the story:
I recently purchased this card and popped it in and everything worked fine, I guess the most vid card consuming test was doom3 at 1680x1050 for a short period before taking it down to a lower res.
Then I started crashing in games... quake 3 then eventually doom3
crashes would either consist of a random restart or a freeze (q3) and a 1 tone buzz at about 100hz.
I figured my palamino might have been getting a little hot and heavy so I checked Asus Probe and saw that it was hovering around 55C, this seemed quite hot to me so I fired up a game and watched as it climbed up to 61C and this seemed to crash it.
I chalked it up to a hot cpu but soon after I started getting the infamous Sentinel low power errors.
Also at this time I looked into IRQ issues, the a7v33 isn't the nicest board when it comes to IRQ problems. Reading this page :http://www.a7vtroubleshooting.com/troubleshoot/ts_crashes/ I decided to take out my TV tuner card that was in PCI slot 2. Still more crashes.
Before Today the 6600gt had shared a 12 V rail with the Maxtor and the floppy along with 2 case fans so I decided to give the card a 12 V rail with only 2 case fans on it.
Also to rule out the Palamino's heat problems my Thermalright SI-97A came in the mail today so Asus Probe is giving me a nice temperature reading of around 39C. Excellent.

But still I crash :(

Any Ideas guys
I've already started searching on Ebay for any cheap a7n8x motherboards.
And yes I know the 2000+ is a major bottleneck in this system but I don't want to drop a newer CPU on to this motherboard.

O and my next move is to reinstall windows.

First, do a new install of Windows (format and install)
If that doesn't work try with one memory stick at a time.

If you still have the problem, try running your computer with as little stuff as possible i.e. one hdd, one cd/dvd, one memory stick and no cards other than the videocard.

Still got the problem? Then I would suspect either the motherboard, CPU or video card.
Unlikely but if you can, try with another PSU

And as always, make sure you got the latest drivers.

After a fresh reinstall quake 3 crashes 5 seconds after loading an arena. I've got the latest Nvidia drivers (78.01).

I'm gonna start taking parts out when I'm done with home work.
