i just ordered a 6600 gt video card because i just got my new monitor a dell 2005 20"
widescreen i don't do very much gaming but ocassionally i do and i was wondering if anyone knew what kind of performance to exspect. I know it isn't gonna play games like doom 3 maxed out with maximum resolution for a screen this size i just hope that it will be decent anyone have a similar set-up

Hmm well what kinda res does a 20inch go up too? Really high... Over 1600x1200... So No you won't be able to play the lastest games on that res.

I've got my 6600GT... And I play F.E.A.R/Quake 4/Need for Speed: MW, BattleField 2
and I play them all on 1024x768 with settings maxed out 2 or 4xAA... You can push BF2 to 1280x1024 with settings medium 2xAA... But thats as far as it will go...

You would want a 7800GT//7800GTX to be playable at those settings =)
