I have a very trusty evga 660 2gb powering my computer. Would I get a noticeable bump by upgrading to a 960?

Thanks

Also: What CPU and how much memory do you have?

Upgrading won't do much good if you're running an ancient dual core w/ 4Gig of ram for example.

Am3+ asus board m5a97
Pile driver fx-8 8350 black edition 4.0 ghz
8gb in 2 of 4 slots, Kingston hyperx ddr3 1600mhz
120gb plextor sdd, though games run off a 2tb seagate just for steam
Evga 660 2gb gddr5

Monitors I have dual monitor setup 2x1920x1080 though I normally game on a single screen

Games, if it exists I might play it. In the last week it's been wfto, etherium and pillars of eternity.

If any games are giving you shit you'll probably notice the 960 would smooth things out a bit, but as a GTX 660 owner myself I wouldn't consider it a worthy upgrade. Saving an extra hundred quid and you could get a large upgrade with the 970 that is more than worth it (also have a 780 which is its equivalent).

The 960 performs between the 680 and 670 or faster if you OC.

Its great for 1080p but since it only has 2gb, you won't be able to max some games.

Save up an extra 10 bucks and get a 290.
Can't believe I just recommended someone buy a Hawaii GPU.
