64bit far cry on Core 2 ?

Does any know that Far Cry 64bit version that came out 3 years ago is playable on core 2 cpu's? I have the QX6700 and im getting vista 64 bit.
Still today Im running on 32bit XP pro with all my games. This is a newly high end machine that I just built.
Now im downloading the upgrade for my far cry from AMD. I know back then AMD start with ther 64bit desktop cpu and intel still was in the P4 era. Also I just want to know what are some good games today are in 64 bit so I can take advantage of my 64bit CPU

Yeah, it works. I've played the 64-bit versions of Far Cry and Steam games on Athlon 64, X2, Pentium 4 5xx and Core 2 CPUs.
