Are there such CPUs out there? If not, will there ever be? I was just wonderin, because i remember seeing a thread, where people had gotten ahold of supposedly 64bit unlocked CPUs on 478. It was before LGA775 had come out. It wasn't announced or anything, but from what they say, Intel actually made a few 478 CPUs that had 64bit extensions. Anybody know anything? I'm just curious.

There are S478 P4 EE chips with EM64T. I'm not sure if there were any other 3.x "F" chips in S478.

woohoo! i got mine right too after about 30mins combined working-on-it-time

hhahaha, took me 30min to get it right but its good now :D

Well you should optimize it for 1024x768, b/c I'm looking at it on 1280x1024, but I have my text size set larger and it doesnt line up.

technically PXC's doesn't look perfect either, but at least it doesn't run off in to another line and really throw things off.

Mine lines up in IE and Firefox at default DPI. It gets wacky in Firefox with larger fonts.

i just got rid of my per request of a moderator because it was messed up at any resolution other than 1280x1024

oh welll, it was cool while it lasted, maybe i will try again some time and do some more testing before i start using it everywhere

well mine's 1024 optimized now! Regarding the font size, tough noogies unless a mod says something :D

Whatever happened to having a simple sig? Is that not cool anymore?

Its common knowlede that people are easily amused by flashy looking things, me being one of them.

wow, this went off topic in teh second post...

PXC, i wasnt aware that any 478 chipsets supported 64-bit... i know teh 865PE doesnt, does the 875?

Mine is teh biggest and mostest perfectest.

I hope this is OK with pxc, we kinda know each other.
He posts his scores on my 3DMark05 list.

On topic I have a 478 but I am getting rid of it for a Socket 939 MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum with a 3500+ Winchester in it.
