Hey, currently just built a new basic system w/ a Ds3 (3.3) , c2d 6400, 2gig corsair, 8800gts and a scythe heatsink. Now im using this program called TAT to check temps on my CPU. Both proccessors are idling around 42 and rise up to about 50 when i use that Orthos stress test program. Now are these normal? I know its not bad, but i see some ppl claiming to have full load test @ only 45's degrees?
 
Comparable temps to what I'm getting with my E6400 on a P5B Deluxe and a Thermalright SI-128.
 
That's pretty close to what I'm getting too. I idle around 37-38C and it gets up to about 52-54C under 100% load. That's measuring with Coretemp and the stock cooler (at stock speeds too).
