hey i have an opteron 165 processor and i was wondering if it is worth getting a XP 64-bit operating system.......... i know they don't have a lot of compatibility yet but i was just wondreing how it would help or hurt. at the current technological moment.
 
Unless you're doing something where you need more than 4gb of memory, XP64 would offer no real upside, and there's still plenty of software/hardware that isn't supported for XP64.
