64-bit OS performance?

Is it worth it to go from 32-bit windows xp to its 64-bit counterpart? I've been reading around and from what I've read here on [h], there doesn't seem to be that much of a difference... Thoughts? Comments?

edit: I have another computer besides the one listed below

I would say so. I have not noticed a benchmarkable difference, but things do seem to just run smoother. Take that as you will.
 
I hear people have issues with getting 64 bit drivers from some printer manufacturers.

Personally I'm waiting for more solid info on Vista before I decide. XP32 works fine for now, I couldn't see spending 150 dollars US for XP64 with Vista only about a year away. (didn't want to spend the money for an os I might only use for a year.)
