64 4000+ recognized as 3700+?

ok, i got my system up and running after katrina owned me. at first my system didn't want to post, but now it boots up and everything, and i don't get a beep. i found that odd. anyway, i took everything out my case and put it all back and fired it up and its working, but its saying my processor is a 3700+ when its supposed to say 4000+ like before. :) when i go to system properties its says something about "physical address extension" at the bottom. anyone know how to fix this?

i had everything set on auto before and haven't had a problem until now. what should i be setting manually?
 
fsb doesnt matter, they all have the 200fsb, and it looks at the multi to find what kind of chip it is.

open up CPUz and tell us what it says... 2.4ghz or 2.2?
 
its at 2.2. should i change the multiplier to 12? oh wait i forgot it only goes up to 11.
 
i updated the bios. i haven't had this problem in the past so i don't know how i could've been ripped off. everything was fine when on auto.
 
looks lik a 3700+.....maybe you bought it without noticing that it was a 3700+??
 
Where did you get the chip from? Do you still have the box? Also, as said, post some pics of the IHS. If the first line on the IHS starts ADA3700... then have a 3700+. If it says ADA4000... then it's a 4000+.
