600 watts enough?

Would a 600w power supply be enough wattage to power this:

(yes, that's 4 hard drives)

AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ 1GHz FSB 2 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket 939 Dual Core




I personally think it might not be enough. What do you guys think?

Wattage is pretty useless what matters is proper amp distribution. A pumped up but useless 5v rail can skew the perceived usefulness of the wattage of a PSU.

What is your budget? What do you want out of a supply? Quiet? Bling? Modular cables? Efficency?

Budget is pretty lenient, I'd say anywhere from 250 to 350. I'm looking for effiency and not too loud. Modular cables isn't a neccessity, unless it comes with SATA connectors (which could save me a little money from not having to buy them).

Then look at the Seasonic S12 series or the Enermax Liberty line.

That should run fine on a good powersupply of much lower than 600 watts. A Seasonic 430W powersupply should work.
