Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
if it's CS:Source you're talking about, you'll have to turn Vsync off and set your max fps to 100 (Higher won't show higher, CS:S is locked to not go any higher for some dumb reason)
if it's CS 1.6, same options apply, but not the maximum fps thing. You can set that to 500 to see what it can really do.
If you are playing Counter strike, counterstrike condition zero, turn of the v-sync. And type fps_max 100 to get 100 fps if your video card support it.
I am not too familiar with an ati card but it should be like this. Right click the desktop. go to property. go to setting. advance option. Your video card. Find the place that said v-sync (vertical Synchronization), For me it is in the performance and quality tab since i'm using an Nvida card. Uncheck the box or what ever.
