I had a computer this morning that choked on the 2nd instance of the SMP they are in seperate directories. I installed it into Fah1 and copied the Fah1 directory and renamed it to Fah2. Made sure to install the new MPI service and let them run. The 2nd instance crapped out. Qfix seems to be broken with this new queue.dat setup it says could nto figure out queue.dat configuration ending.

Anyone else having issues only with their 2nd instance of the SMP?

Suggestions on what to try?

I did delete the queue.dat and the work directory and the fahcore, just to have it download another work unit and crap out at 2-3% again.

I have not tried the 90% trick relic uses...

I did pretty much the same thing; however on the copies I also increment machineid. Maybe yours are all set identical and causing MPI issues? Just taking a stab in the dark here. Didn't quite gather from the statement, but you also only need to install the MPI service once per machine, but it shouldn't really make a difference.
