5MP Rasp Pi camera Module - anyone have experience?

I need something that will do HD video and this camera module will do 1080p30, 720p60 and 640x480p60/90 video with 5MP stills (2592 x 1944), for a great price. It is also available in IR. Both can be fitted with different lenses for zoom or wide angle. Pretty sweet for $25.

Has anyone used one of these? I have a Pi B (original 512mb ram version) and need to know if there is anything else I need to get this to work.

Are there any other options out there that may be better than this?

Also, is there a supplier that is more trusted so that I'm not getting a knock=off?
 
I've used the RPi Compute Module for testing of the stereo camera setup.
For just using a single camera, it should be relatively simple to get the camera up and running using the instructions on the RPi website. The camera itself is not that great, it is literally a low/midrange smartphone camera module. For still images you have a decent amount of flexibility in capture settings, but for video it is VERY limited in user-modifiable settings as all video relies on the fixed-function hardware encoder in the GPU. There is also no external shutter or sync control, so if you need camera hardware that can be accurately externally triggered the RPi is no good.

It really depends on your application. If all you need to do is get an acceptable image onto a cheap networked device, then the RPi + camera module is an excellent choice. It's hard to recommend one way or the other without knowing what you actually want to do with it.
