5970 OC Results and Help

I just OC'd my 5970 to 775/1000, FM06 = 27252. This is on an I7 920 at 4Ghz, 6gig of Memory.

What tools are you all using to tweak voltage and in general to OC with? I think I can break 30k

I got mine at 810/1150 stock volts =p used CCC or MSI After burner

If your card has the necessary hardware support, yes. You'll have to open up the settings screen and enable voltage control, as it comes disabled by default.

I use afterburner for monitoring and voltage change and ccc for clocks. Asus HD5970

I'm using MSI Afterburner. Have the memory and voltage maxed out. Final clocks 955/5200.

Yup, those kinds of clocks are only possible with water cooling or better.

MSI Afterburner. 850/1200 is a pretty easy OC on the 5970. Make sure to increase the voltage for stability though. I go with 1.212 v but it varies from card to card.

New block, new pump, etc...gettin close to a 5870.

I get a hard crash any time I get near 5870 speeds with two his 5970's. Im using msi afterburner.

Can't seem to unlock core voltage on MSI Afterburner 1.5.1
