i just got 3 5903 WU's pretty much the same as the 5902

about 14 hours to complete and 1680 points:eek:
 
Yeah, I am looking at about 7k PPD with this one. My GPU temp looks like about 50c +/-2 degrees. Way to go Standford!!

 
I'm getting about 4950 on my 8800GT on this guy, not too shabby. I like the bigger units, dumping a couple of these plus my smp makes for some big point days.
 
If we can keep the heat and power down, I can justify more "D".
 
For some reason, I'm getting about 1250ppd on the 5903's on my primary 96GSO, and over 3000ppd on 5903's with my secondary 9600GSO... The only diff between the two cards (other than the one with better ppd being a dual slot card) is 45 MHz on the SP's - 1745 vs. 1790. For the record, that makes 13 hours per WU on one card, and over 30 on the other! :eek:

Might be time to pull that first GPU off F@H and try it on GPUGRID if I can't figure out what's up...

edit - On a whim, I just changed FahMon from Effective rate to last 3 frames, and ppd jumped up to 2938 from 1287 - big difference is that my 5 year old just finished playing a game on playhouse Disney's website about 20 minutes (4 frames) ago... I guess with these WU's any other use of the video card, even basic web surfing, is enough to put a big enough hit on the card to severely affect folding? :confused:

I have a rig over at the neighbors and they have free use of it as long as it keeps folding.

The kids have a Blues Clue game that drops the ppd down to 1k or so on the 9800GSO that is inside. Thye are good about turning the game off when they are done, but when it is 11:00 at night and the pps is still so low, I VNC and kill it off.

It has been like that for all the WU. These ones just happen to throw a bit of variance on top of that.
