5900xt Vs 9600

Ok i have my system that is an 1800+ OC to 1.67 with a gb of ram & an 5900xt im getting a 4819 on 3dmark03 & my friend has a 3.2 gb of ram dual channel & an 9600 & he is getting 2501. We also ran UT2k3 bench & im getting 113 Flyby & 55 Bot at 1600x 1200 he is getting 43 flyby & 35 bot at 1600 x 1200. Im thinking he should be getting a better score then that or am i off base. Any feed back would be great
 
not higher but closer i mean my system is a little over 3 year other then my video card (got it this weekend) his is only like 6 months i just was thinking he should be close
 
3dmark2003 is mainly gpu based. You should run 3dmark 2001 instead and you should see a difference there
 
Well he runs good computer with crappy video card, you run slightly outdated cpu with much faster gpu so the scores are perfectly good ;)
PS. What kind of score you get in that system with 3dmark 2k1? My old 1700+@1800+ with 9700np was scoring about 10000.
