5900 Problems
Hi, i just installed a BFG 5900 onto a friends comp and now he says he experiences freeze ups and sometimes the monitor shuts off like going into stanby mode.

what could be the problem?

could it be that he has a hp computer?

Well some people have been getting faulty BFG 5900NU's so it could be a bad card, but the problem is either a weak/cheap power supply (OEMs are notorious for this) or a bad card. I say first try RMA'ing the card and if the new one still dont work, look into getting a better power supply.
