5900 nu cooling

im thinking of getting the zalman ZM80C-HP for it. I lost the pin to my stock sync.. those things really fly when you release them... anyway.... does my 5900 make too much heat to do the zalman cooler or will it run alright... if i put on a honkin fan on it could i get as much overclocking as i did with stock (500/980)
