Ok, new card in, so excited... Now so bummed.
With the 5870 in, i get no screen/ picture on any output, including the onboard video. Take it out, and the oboard boots fine....
I've tried disabling the onboard, trying different pci power leads, and reseating the card like 10 times.
the fan on the card is spinning, and when i plug in a monitor it comes up as seeking signal for half a second and then goes right back to sleep / power save....
Please tell me i'm a retard whose been out of the game for a while and I'm missing something obvious, not that i've got a DOA $400 vid card i've saved up for
