5870, hdmi linked?

so, quick question

I'm planning on an eyefinity setup using the displayport/dvi outputs on a 5870

Can I /also/ use the hdmi port for an extra, non-eyefinity'd monitor/tv? I've read mixed reviews that it is linked to one of the dvi outputs and is therefore unusable.

No. (As far as I know.)

You can use 2 DVI+DP, or 1 DVI 1 HDMI+DP. Not all outputs at once.

I believe it's a bandwidth issue. (Someone better in the know can correct/confirm this.)

from what i understand, the hdmi is tied to the 2nd dvi. (someone correct me if I am wrong)
