When are these cards likely to actually be available to buy? Weeks? Months?

Nowhere has stock at the moment and hasn't since october, so when are these going to actually be availalbe to buy?

They were available for quite a while last week at newegg. They had stock for well over 24 hours which if you were really in the market for one you would have seen. I think there were 2 or 3 different threads here of people pointing it out. And whenever these cards do become available someone here almost always posts about it.
As of right now, newegg has 12/8 listed as eta for the diamond cards and 12/14 for the stock speed xfx.

Same old broken record...

When TSMC can improve their 40nm manufacturing process. This affects both AMD and nVidia cards.

sorry forgot to mention i'm in the UK. There's a few here: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-112-HT&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=1502 but the price is insane. That's £100 ($164) more than they were at release.

Just kind of annoying that I've been looking to get one since the end of october and the prices just keep going up and up and the availability hasn't got any better. I'm considering getting 2x 4890s for £280 (which at the moment is £100 less than a single 5870).

You completely missed the boat man, xfx 5870s were available practically all weekend on Newegg!

Been checking that one (used them before a few years ago actually). They're all on pre-order.. have been for weeks.
