I'm pretty new at the whole Crossfire thing. I already have a 5870 and I am think about adding a 5970. Will I need a Crossfire bridge or can I just use the software? BTW I have an EVGA 3x Classified mobo.
Yes, you'll need a crossfire bridge. And you'll probably want to get one of the 10cm long flexible bridges that you can find on eBay in order to put your two cards in the first and third PCI-E slots.
