I'm thinking of adding a Ati Radeon 5850 to my 5870, as i should be able to get it fairly cheap, but I'm not sure if my Tagan 700W BZ PipeRock PSU will handle it.

My PC:

Intel i5 2500K @ 4.5 GHz
Gigabyte P67-UD3-B3
G.Skill 1333MHz 2x2GB DDR3
3x Sata2 HDD and 1x SSD
Tagan 700W BZ PipeRock

So what do you guys think? Do I meet the power requirements and is it worth it?

I live in Iceland and a new one is pretty darn expensive still and not many used going around.

And will the 16x + 4x PCI-Express have much impact on performance?

That PCI-Express configuration will show some limitation, but only a few percent. Adding that 5850 will be a good way to boost your graphics capability.

Your PSU should be enough to handle it, but I'm no expert there so maybe someone more knowledgeable can help you with that.

Well I decided to throw this idea out of the window and go get a 570 GTX or HD 6950 and unlock it, which one would you guys recommend at 1920x1080 res?
