To start they are seated correctly, bridge connected properly, in the proper slots (1 and 3 pcie) on a crosshair IV formula extreme motherboard, flashed to most up to date bios.

I've reinstalled drivers, juggled cards around etc.

http://imgur.com/a/NmRfI < GPUZ (I've noticed the different BIOS versions, I was told it shouldnt be an issue but I'll flash it if someone things thats required)

Interesting thing in CCC is the difference in between the two cards in the performance tab: http://imgur.com/a/c4O8x

I'm at a loss at the moment - can't really figure it out.

:(

edit:

The issue is performance, the second card is not running at x16 - also its a bit weird in the CCC as show by the screenshots

Ok,That is called ultra low power state or ulps for short,it basically shuts off the second gpu when you are at an idle to save power,it will kick back up to full speed when you start a game or other 3d intensive application. So its not an issue, you cards are working as they should but if it really bothers you,you can disable it by making some changes to your registry, just google disable ulps and follow one of the guides, but altering the registry is always dangerous so do so at your own risk.

*edit* If you plan on using a third party app to overclock, like msi afterburner, you will need to disable ulps to stop some of the conflicts it may cause.

What about the second card not showing up at all in the CCC ?

I see 0 improvement in games.

What bench should I run to test if they are actually working as they should ?

I swapped the cards... it now works.....(Card 1 from pcie slot 1 to slot 3, and Card from pcie slot 3 to slot1)

I'll attribute to magical card fairies/devils.

Thanks for your help

Download unigine heaven benchmark run it with one card them in crossfire, make sure to enable crossfire in ccc, otherwise it will only use one card if both are installed.

The reason it shows all 0's is because the card is essentially turned off.

What are the rest of your system specs?

I did what you reccomended with furmark to ensure the second one was actually doing something, and the result was from 30 frames to 60.

I ran the uniengine with xfire enabled.. and here are the results:http://i.imgur.com/Fl7jI.png

I think overall it is running well...

I am a little disappointed with ARMA II's performance.. although I believe crossfire support for that game isn't the greatest (unless I'm wrong then let me know heh)

Thanks for your help:)

I believe arma II is a very cpu dependent game.

Glad to hear its working out for you.

What processor are you using.
